BRAVE NEW VOICES in LA………YAaaaAAAAaaAA!!!!

The 13th annual Brave New Voices festival is in LA this week—the first poetry slam dedicated to youth in the nation’s history. Since Iyeoka’s invitation to host, perform and present her STAY POET professional development workshop in Chicago in 2009, Iyeoka went on to winning a title at the Individual World Poetry Slam competition and spending her year implementing her passion to focus on the youth.
